about

I'm thrilled to share with you a unique opportunity here in India.

Hi my name is Francesca Mileto and I am an artisan and decorator. After attending the Art High School, I dedicated myself to studying various techniques of decoration on ceramics and porcelain, teaching both the classical and innovative methods with a completely personal style. At the end of the 1990s, I specialized with Art Master Elena Monge Prever, a famous decorator from Turin. In 2008 I attended Art and Image courses held by Master Giovanni Tambone, with whom I delved into the technique of watercolor on paper, focusing particularly on composition. I draw inspiration from botany and learn to select the most suitable support for my works: natural papers, made of pure cellulose and cotton, with their various weights. My frequent and extended stays in India became a source of inspiration for new projects, where the harmonious union of my naturalistic decorations with the figure of the Mandala, a powerful universal symbol, is evident.

The watercolor technique allows me to find a happy meeting point with the ceramic decoration technique realized at the Mileto Laboratory. Additionally, lately, part of my work has focused on creating business cards, designed for clients who need to feel represented by decorations and texts specifically tailored for them. The use of watercolors in this practice adds a unique depth and vibrancy to the works, creating connections between the world of watercolor and the intrinsic symbolism of Mandala.

This artistic journey continues to evolve, this time in India, with new perspectives and inspirations.

I look forward to the future with excitement, ready to further explore the union between watercolors and ceramics, channeling my creativity through the creation of Mandala that tells unique and vibrant stories.
